This is my first post on my new blog and I’m very excited about it! I’ve been dreaming about starting a WordPress blog for a long time now and here I am, about to publish my first post! I see this blog as a place to share all of my creative adventures. I know I still have a lot to learn about this blogging platform but I’m pretty confident that I’ll be able to figure it out.
I’ll start by sharing a Spring project that I made recently. I know that most of the country is under a thick blanket of SNOW but here on the West Coast of Canada we are enjoying balmy spring temperatures (#sorrynotsorry) 😉 and I couldn’t wait to get started “springifying” my front door.
Can you believe this wreath is made from inexpensive Dollar Tree tulips?
I found the idea on Pinterest and followed the instructions I found here. I love how it turned out!
I wish I had taken some photos of the process but it was honestly so easy I finished it up before I knew it!
I love having a pop of colour on my otherwise very boring front door and I’ve already had lots of compliments by passers by out walking their dogs, biking, strolling with their babies etc. 😉 (#sorrynotsorry) Sorry, I can’t help but rub it in. Normally we are being drenched in RAIN at this time of year so I can’t help but be a little bit smug.
Enjoy the sunshine my fellow West Coasters! For the rest of Canada, don’t worry. It will all melt away soon enough.
Dancing in the Sunshine,
